Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline expectations, responsibilities, consent requirements, risks, and policies for engaging with services at Diana Bradley Therapy, including Clinical Hypnotherapy, Spinal Energetics, and the Non-Linear Movement Method® (NLMM).

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. Nature of Services & Scope of Practice

Diana Bradley Therapy provides:

  • Clinical Hypnotherapy

  • Spinal Energetics

  • Non-Linear Movement Method® (NLMM)

These are complementary therapeutic modalities and are not a replacement for medical, psychiatric, or psychological treatment.

We do not:

  • Diagnose health or mental health conditions

  • Provide crisis intervention

  • Guarantee therapeutic outcomes

  • Provide services under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Clients are encouraged to continue seeing their primary healthcare providers as needed.

2. Informed Consent

Before beginning services, clients must complete required intake and consent forms that explain:

  • The nature of the modality

  • Potential emotional or physical responses

  • Confidentiality and privacy terms

  • Risks and limitations

  • Client responsibilities

You may withdraw consent at any time.

3. Spinal Energetics Contraindications

Due to the physical and emotional intensity of Spinal Energetics, sessions are not suitable for individuals who meet the following contraindications, which include the below, but are not limited to:

  • Pregnancy (1st trimester or final weeks)

  • Children under 12; elderly over 75

  • Severe PTSD/CPTSD

  • Bipolar, schizophrenia, psychosis

  • High-dose psychiatric medications

  • Recent fractures, surgeries, or limited mobility

  • Epilepsy (grand mal)

  • Cardiovascular disease, aneurysm, stroke history

  • Recent psychiatric hospitalisation

  • Intoxication, recreational drugs, or plant medicines

Clients must confirm none of these apply before booking.

The practitioner reserves the right to decline or discontinue sessions for safety reasons.

4. Client Responsibilities

To ensure safety and effectiveness, clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete health information

  • Update the practitioner about any changes to physical or mental health

  • Communicate discomfort during sessions

  • Arrive on time and prepared

  • Secure a private, uninterrupted space for online sessions

  • Not attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs

5. Confidentiality

All information shared in sessions is confidential, except where disclosure is required by law, including:

  • Serious and imminent risk of harm

  • Mandatory reporting obligations

  • Court orders requiring release of information

Records are stored securely for at least seven years, per Good Practice guidance.

6. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

  • Cancellations or rescheduling of appointments must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled session.

  • A 25% deposit is taken at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

  • If you cancel with more than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit will be fully refunded.

  • If you choose to reschedule with more than 48 hours’ notice, the deposit can be transferred to your new appointment time.

  • If you cancel within 48 hours, or do not attend your appointment, the deposit will be forfeited as a late cancellation fee. No additional charges will be applied.

  • The remaining 75% of the session fee is payable at the time of your appointment.

7. Online (Telehealth) Sessions

By booking an online session, you agree to:

  • Provide a quiet, private environment

  • Ensure stable internet connectivity

  • Take responsibility for the safety of your physical environment

Online services are considered equivalent in effectiveness to in-person sessions when these conditions are met.

8. Media Consent

Recording, photography, or video is not permitted unless a separate Media Consent Form is completed.

Consent is voluntary, revocable, and must be explicitly provided.

9. Limitation of Liability

By engaging in my services, you acknowledge:

  • The practitioner does not guarantee outcomes

  • Hypnotherapy involves self-hypnosis and client participation

  • Emotional, cognitive, or somatic responses may occur during and after sessions

  • You are responsible for seeking appropriate medical or psychological care when required

  • The practitioner is not liable for outcomes arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client

10. Emergency and Crisis Situations

Diana Bradley Therapy does not provide crisis services.
